Video AT-NET has completely changed the way video, audio, telemetry and switching signals are fed into the cable system and on to the control centre. All video -, audio and telemetry signals are available at the same time. These can be represented individually and be uncoupled at arbitrary points within the network again. The installation costs have been substantially reduced and extensions of such plants are now feasible via relatively small expenditure. By the combination of video, audio and telemetry signals, tasks beyond the normal monitoring technology (ie. complete building management) have become a reality.
